"LONDON TRANSPORT" ROUTE 73 RE-RUN &

CHRISTMAS LIGHTS TOUR

SUNDAY 7TH DECEMBER 2008

DEPARTURES FROM NOON



This running day is primarily for vehicle owners and their guests to enjoy a day and early evening in London driving their bus along the streets of the West End. Following on from the last two years when we retraced Route 159 it was felt that a change of route would be beneficial. So this year we will drive Route 73 from Stoke Newington to Victoria and back prior to embarking, at dusk, on a slightly shorter lights tour of the West End including multiple River Thames crossings. We have also changed the day of this event to a Sunday to hopefully help with traffic congestion. 

The day also provides excellent opportunities for viewing and photographing these iconic vehicles in the surrounding they are most at home on London's streets.

We must stress that to comply with operator licence laws we will not be able to carry un-invited passengers nor stop en route to collect passengers but obviously those drivers who have the necessary licences and insurance may well offer a ride to those who may request one.

Fully detailed route maps will be provided to pre-booked entries and we make every effort to ensure each "mini-convoy" is headed by a driver with a degree of route knowledge. This is a fantastic day out and we are confident it will be really enjoyed by all who attend.

This event is ideally suited for all the family so why not bring them along.
