ELVINGTON BUS RALLY & RUNNING EVENT
YORKSHIRE AIR MUSEUM, ELVINGTON, Nr. YORK

The rally and running event at Elvington near York is scheduled to take place from 10-00am on Sunday 5th October 2008 at the Yorkshire Air Museum, Halifax Way, Elvington, Nr. York enabling the Routemaster Owners Club to build and develop this event following the success of the first event in September 2007. This is a fantastic setting with plenty to see in the museum itself. The first rally in this northern location proved to be an instant success with both bus enthusiasts as well as those who had just come to visit the museum itself.

This year we will be extending the profile to allow entries from all types of historic buses and look foward to welcoming a much more varied selection of vehicles. 

Your Management Group, under the control of rally organiser Mike Mann, fully intend to improve on this year's event to further enhance this rally as both the Routemaster Owners Club and Yorkshire Air Museum are keen for it to become an annual event on the bus rally circuit. As with all new events in new locations it will only succeed if supported by owners and enthusiasts.

Entries are invited from owners wishing to display their vehicles in Static Display, owners who are prepared to operate their vehicles providing the free bus services, Running Vehicle and traders who wish to have a sales pitch(es) on the site, Trader.
