CENTRAL MILTON KEYNES

The Milton Keynes Rally and Running Day is scheduled to take place on Sunday 17th August 2008 in it's new location at The Bus Station, Grafton Gate, Central Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire from 10-00am.

Following three good years in Leighton Buzzard it was felt we had outgrown the site and have therefore we have relocated to a new venue in Central Milton Keynes. This site offers more than twice the space with a large cafe allowing good views of both static as well as the running vehicles. A much more friendly stallholder area together with visitor car parking adjacent. It is also located no more than two minutes walk from Central Milton Keynes railway station providing fast direct links to both London and the north.

Now in its fourth year this rally has become firmly established on the rally circuit enjoying support from Routemaster, RT, RF and GS owners and enthusiasts. The Routemaster Owners Club intends to continue to enhance this event to hopefully provide a better and more enjoyable event each year. This year we will be extending the profile to allow entries from all types of historic buses and look foward to welcoming a much more varied selection of vehicles.

Both the static display and the operating vehicles have proved very popular with the locals of Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire as anybody who visited in 2007 saw with vehicles operating in service running almost fully loaded all day. Stallholders all reported it worthwhile and many have already expressed a wish to return.

Entries are invited from owners wishing to display their vehicles in Static Display, owners who are prepared to operate their vehicles providing the free bus services, Running Vehicle and traders who wish to have a sales pitch(es) on the site, Trader.
